ASCOs previous Managing Director, Wolfgang Pöschl, who managed ASCO since 2007 in addition to Messer Schweiz (Switzerland) AG, will accept a new position and challenge to become the Managing Director of Messer Austria. As of January 1, 2012 he passed on the ASCO-baton to Marco Pellegrino.

42-year-old Marco Pellegino has been with ASCO for 18 years, over which he set up and directed the ASCOJET dry ice blasting technology to the point where it is now a leader in this industry market worldwide. Since 2010 Marco Pellgrino has been ASCO's Director of Sales & Marketing focusing his attention over the complete product range of ASCO including CO2 production plants and CO2 recovery plants. “I am joined with ASCO, its CO2 products and applications for many years now and have already put lots of passion into this company”, describes Marco Pellegrino of his years with ASCO. “I really look forward to accept this new challenge together with the complete ASCO crew.”

The 12th International Foundry Trade Fair GIFA will take place in Düsseldorf between June 28 and July 2, 2011 and is the most important trade fair for foundry technology in the world.

Now ASCO broadens its dry ice production product range with two high capacity dry ice pelletizers: The Automatic Dry Ice Pelletizers P700 has a production capacity of 700 kg/hr and is predestined for a high demand of dry ice pellets. The Automatic Dry Ice Pelletizer P450 with its production capacity of 450 kg/hr is the ideal solution wherever mid-range dry ice pellet quantities are needed. Both of these new dry ice pelletizers produce densly compressed dry ice pellets in five different sizes for blasting and cooling purposes.

For mould cleaning and machine maintenance, HUKLA in Gengenbach relies on the gentle ASCOJET dry ice blasting technology of ASCO.

Hukla in Gengenbach manufactures diverse components for upholstered furniture used in residential living areas, such as seat cushions, armrests, etc. Quality is the benchmark for all activities at HUKLA, even for their mould cleaning requirements: These standards require they were looking for a residue-free cleaning method for their PU foaming tools, one which could easily be integrated into the process.
